Stephen A. Smith had a ton to say about the LA Lakers on a recent episode of the ESPN NBA Countdown. He believes that the Lakers are one of the more below-average teams in the NBA at the moment.

Smith added that LeBron James doesn't have a chance of winning another NBA title in his career while he's playing for the Lakers. Although it's uncertain if he's going to stay in Los Angeles for the remainder of his career or not, things won't look too great for him if he does.

One thing to think about here is that LeBron did just sign another contract with Los Angeles. But considering the type of play that we're still seeing from him, it wouldn't be crazy to say that he could even get another contract after that. He hasn't made any comments about retiring, so don't be shocked if he does end up with another team at some point throughout his career.

Before we dive into those types of speculations, Stephen A. Smith had the following to say about LeBron James winning another championship:

"Ain't no way in hell LeBron James is winning another championship in LA in a Lakers uniform."

Will LeBron James win another title?

LeBron James is undoubtedly one of the best players that has ever touched a basketball. There's still legitimate argument to be made that he might be the best player in the NBA right now.

However, it's gotten to the point with the LA Lakers that the team can't do anything, despite how well he plays on any given night. The Lakers are simply a bad team and even a guy like LeBron James can't fix that.

However, there is still hope for Los Angeles as they do have an opportunity to potentially make a huge trade for Russell Westbrook. If they can trade Westbrook to the Indiana Pacers for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner, there's a good chance that the Lakers could revive their season.

Let's see if the LA Lakers can help LeBron James win yet another title and possibly solidify himself as the best player that's ever played in the game. If he can win one more with Los Angeles, there should be no question about who the best player of all time is. Unfortunately, for him, that doesn't seem to be the case right now, but it's a long season and anything can happen if they do make some moves.

LeBron has been an absolute force on both sides of the basketball once again this season as he's averaging 27.3 points, grabbing 11.0 rebounds. and dishing out 7.3 assists per game.

Whenever you have LeBron, your team can do something special if you just add the right pieces around him.
