Anthony Davis is listed as probable on the LA Lakers' latest injury report. He will likely travel with the team to Salt Lake City for Saturday's upcoming road game against the Utah Jazz. Davis is dealing with an ankle sprain and bone bruise. He has only missed two games this season; neither of those are due to his ankle.

Still, the Lakers will likely make a decision regarding his ability to face the Jazz until as close to the game as possible. The medical staff will likely be running risk assessments and fitness tests on the All-Star forward throughout the day. The Lakers are better when Davis is on the floor, especially on the defensive end.

Davis has missed two games this season due to his abductor injury; the first came on November 8, and the second occurred on December 15. The injury has also affected his hip. However, he has navigated the injury well.

Now, Davis is dealing with an ankle sprain and bone bruise. The injury was first reported on December 19. He is yet to miss a game due to his ankle, and is once again likely to suit up for the Lakers against the Utah Jazz.


What happened to Anthony Davis?

Anthony Davis' ankle injury was originally reported on December 19. However, it became more prevalent when he was forced to leave a game against the Chicago Bulls in the third quarter after rolling his ankle. That game took place on December 21. Since then, Davis has been nursing the injury along with receiving treatment form the medical staff.

Davis has a reputation for being injury-prone and missing significant portions of the season. However, Davis has remained on the court and has continued to produce at an All-NBA level for the Lakers.
