Anthony Edwards hypes up Georgia QB Carson Beck ahead of SEC Championship Game: "Do your M-F'ing thing boy"

Anthony Edwards sent an inspiring message to Georgia quarterback Carson Beck ahead of the SEC Championship game against the Texas Longhorns. Sports Center shared the message on Instagram. They posted a graphic of Edwards and Beck and accompanied the message in the image.

"Carson Bec, do you M-F'ing thing boy, you hear me?"

Edwards originally relayed the message to Beck after the Warriors game on Friday. A fan uploaded the video of the Timberwolves star delivering the message on television on X.

The Minnesota Timberwolves star was born in Georgia, Atlanta which explains his message for Beck as a Georgia Bulldogs fan. During the regular season, the Bulldogs were the only team to defeat the 11-1 Longhorns (30-15).

Anthony Edwards is having a great individual run this season, averaging 26.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. He dropped 30 points in his latest game against the Warriors helping his secure a 107-90 win and extend their winning streak to four games.

Anthony Edwards has evolved in shooting this season. The Timberwolves star's 3-point shot and his ability to play as an effective catch-and-shoot shooter has helped the Timberwolves.

After the game against the Warriors, Ant-Man revealed the reason behind his improved shooting prowess in a locker room interview.

"In order for me to score without the ball, I gotta be able to shoot making respect," Edwards said. "I texted Steph about this maybe seven or eight games ago. I sent him a voice message and just being ready to shoot on the catch to make sure another threat on the offense."

Dane Moore, a Timberwolves reporter, who uploaded the interview on X reported that Edwards goes to the gym four to five times a day just to polish his shooting skills.

Anthony Edwards has morphed himself from an inside player who can drop multiple poster dunks and sink in midrange shots in a single match to a player who can now be a viable threat from downtown as well.

Compared to last season, Ant-Man has seen significant improvement in his 3-point shooting percentage. Last season, he was shooting 35.7% from beyond the arc while this season he is shooting 42.2%.
