Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors faced a new generation of the LeBron James family, when Bronny James took to the floor in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's preseason showdown.
LeBron's oldest son, the Lakers' 55th pick, shared the floor with Curry and Draymond Green. The two even guarded him on separate possessions while Bronny was tasked with defending Curry momentarily.
Bronny endured another underwhelming night. The 20-year-old played nine minutes but shot only 1 of 5. He tallied two points, one rebound and a block.
His second field goal in preseason came with 5:34 left in the game as he drove to the rim and finished with his left. It was similar to his first field goal in the preseason.

Bronny James has now gone 2-of-16 from the field, tallying only four points. He has five turnovers and is a team-worst -40.
"Numbers could be better" - Bronny James on preseason woes
Bronny James isn't too concerned about how his preseason has gone. However, the Lakers rookie believes his numbers could be better. Bronny told reporters before the game that his goal has been to familiarize himself with the team as he prepares for the season.
"For me, just getting comfortable," Bronny said. "Going out there and getting reps. I feel like it's the most important thing right now ... Grow my confidence and be more comfortable when I'm out there playing. Cause' I feel good, but the numbers could be better."
Bronny James also began Summer League with a shooting slump before he found his rhythm with consistent playing time. That hasn't been as available in the preseason with the Lakers preparing for the regular season, which he isn't likely to be a part of.
The plan for the rookie is to spend most of his time in the G League, where he could develop his game, especially offensively. There is potential in his defense, which looks solid for an undersized guard, thanks to his quickness and athleticism.
Bronny still has two more games to get reps in, against the Suns on Thursday and the Warriors on Friday.
