Canada's win was sealed with a pair of free throws from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with two seconds left in the fourth quarter. The OKC Thunder star led the charge for his team, finishing with a team-high 20 points. Nine of SGA's 20 points ended up coming from the free-throw line.

Andrew Nembhard came out of the gates slow, but ended up playing a key part in Canada's win over Spain. He was the second-leading scorer behind SGA with 18 points on 80% shooting. Other notable performers include RJ Barrett (16 points) and Dillon Brooks (12 points).

Santi Aldama led the charge for Spain in their first game, but that wouldn't be the case against Canada. Instead, Dario Brizuela managed to come alive on the offensive end. He ended up posting 17 points, the most of any player for Spain in this matchup.

As for Aldama, he fell just short of a double-double in this nail-biting loss. In 24 minutes of action, the Memphis Grizzlies big man posted a stat line of seven points, 11 rebounds and four assists.

With this win, Canada will head into the quarter-finals with a perfect 3-0 record. SGA and company will now have to wait and see to find out who they'll be squaring off against next.
