Charles Barkley has never been shy about sharing whatever is on his mind and usually gives good reasoning behind his opinions on certain things. A few days ago, the former NBA superstar was a guest on the Jennifer Hudson Show, where he shared his opinion about spending money on luxurious cars.

Hudson asked the 11-time All-Star about the worst purchase he's ever made. To everyone's surprise, Chuck answered it and quickly gave his reasoning behind it.

"A Porsche." Barkley said.
"Cars are stupid. You don't waste money on cars, that's just stupid."

"I actually bought two Porsches. And I realized, they make you go fast. There are certain cars that you have to drive fast. Like, right now I have a Kia. It gets me from A to B, I'm just trying to get to A to B."

Barkley is known around the NBA community for not flashing any type of fancy technology when he's around. The former Phoenix Suns prefer to soak up the moments that he's in without having to be bothered by technology. That's probably the reason he doesn't have any form of social media.

Chuck has a good reason for most of the things he's said in public and driving a car that isn't quite fast is practical. Plus, it's safe.

Charles Barkley had something to say about Kevin Durant

Charles Barkley recently appeared on CBS's "60 Minutes" where he answered some of the toughest questions that relate to him. One of the questions the 1992-1993 MVP had to answer was about Kevin Durant. The current All-Star for the Suns has often clashed with Chuck's opinion and is usually a topic of discussion.

When asked what he thinks of the 6-foot-10 forward, the Hall of Fame forward said this:

"He's very senstitive, a great player."
"He's part of a generation who think he can't be criticized. He's never looked in the mirror and says, 'Man, was that a fair criticism?'"

The two have had their fair share of verbal exchanges, which has caused a rift between them Additionally, the criticism that Barkley often shares with the media about Durant usually doesn't sit well with the 2013-14 MVP.

Now that he's with Phoenix, KD can expect more criticism from former players, especially Chuck. Durant was traded to the Suns during the trade deadline this season, which transformed the team's dynamic and goals. They are now on their way to trying and winning the championship this year.
