All-Star forward Kevin Durant throws a jab at a fan who he seemingly thought disagreed with his take regarding Kobe Bryant. A video of the Phoenix Suns star surfaced online where he was talking about Bryant's 81-point performance in 2006.

According to Durant, watching Bryant's dominant offensive performance in that game cemented the Lakers star as the greatest player in his eyes.

That video of Durant praising Bryant's 81-point game was commended by a fan on social media. Durant was even tagged by the user for him to see that he agreed with his take. However, the Suns star decided to throw a jab at the opinion.

"Somebody come look at the opinion police," Durant said.

Durant is known to engage in exchanges with fans online whenever he sees a chance. Usually, he doesn't hold back and lets his opinion be known by the people who follow him on social media.

What did Kevin Durant say about Bryant's 81-point performance?

Bryant's game against the Toronto Raptors in January 2006 was one for the ages. Fans were amazed with how well he scored that game and players were in awe of what he did on the floor. One of the people who were amazed by it was Kevin Durant, who saw greatness in the five-time champion's performance.

In the video posted by the fan, he talked about how enamored he was of the Black Mamba.

"I watched that 81-point game live," Durant said. "And when he got to cooking in that and I was like, 'This is the greatest player I ever seen.'"

The Suns star wasn't the only one who had something to say about Bryant's 81-point game. Back then, LeBron James also shared his thoughts on the game and he even predicted that the Lakers legend would score at least 80 points. The moment of James talking about the late Lakers star has become a meme since then.

For Durant, he's always been a fan of Bryant ever since he was young. During his younger days in the NBA, he had numerous chances to play against the star and even teamed up with him at the 2012 London Olympics. In 2015, he mentioned that the Hall of Fame guard belongs on his Mount Rushmore of players.
