Giannis Antetokounmpo had one of the best performances of his career, scoring 59 points to secure a 127-120 overtime win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. Shortly after, Nike took a jab at Jaylen Brown by praising its renowned athlete on X.

"Nothing childish about 'em. 59 for the Greek freak," Nike tweeted.

"Cook that fraud," one Bucks fan tweeted.
"59 but 12th seed in a dog fight with the Detroit Pistons going to OT & barely winning off missed free throws by Ron Holland," another added.
"Cooked Jaylen Brown," another tweeted.
"Don't subtweet, he called you out directly," a Celtics fan wrote a Celtics.

"How does a billion-dollar company have a personal vendetta against one man?" a fan wondered.
"Bad look for Nike here," added another Celtics fan.

This post may have re-ignited a feud between Brown and the world-famous brand.

The Celtics star publicly accused Nike of handpicking the roster for Team USA, blaming it because of his apparent snub.

It all started when Brown sided with his former teammate, Kyrie Irving, after Nike dropped Irving after some apparent antisemitic remarks. He had also worn Nike sneakers but covered up the logo.

Also, Jaylen Brown and Giannis Antetokounmpo starred in a somewhat comical incident on Sunday. Giannis elbowed Brown and was called for an offensive foul.

Then, after Antetokounmpo reached his hand out to give him a handshake, he hit Brown with a "too slow." The Boston Celtics star didn't appreciate the gesture, and he dismissed it after the win:

"Giannis is a child," Brown said. "I'm just focused on helping my team get the (113-107) win. And that's what we did tonight."

Jaylen Brown and Giannis Antetokoumnpo will continue their beef

Even despite Jaylen Brown's criticism, the Greek superstar was unmoved by his words.

“Oh, that’s what he said? Dang," Antetokounmpo said. "I thought that I gave him a compliment, and he was just going at me. At the same time, it is who I am. I play the game with fun, joy. I try to surround myself with young people so I can stay young myself, and sometimes I might go on the court and do stuff like that.
"I think he's an incredible player. He always does the right thing to help his team win. But I'm just gonna continue to be me, and at the end of the day, if I'm called the child, so be it. Great player, great competitor; if I have another opportunity, I'll do it again.'
