Derrick White comments on Jayson Tatum's devastating injury
Following Monday's Game 5, Derrick White was asked about Jayson Tatum's season-ending injury that might also sideline the star forward for the entirety of next season.
"Obviously, that's our brother," White said. "You hate to see him go down. We just know the type of guy he is, and it's tough to see him go down."
Celtics writer Bobby Manning reported that Boston's locker room at Madison Square Garden following the Game 4 loss was quiet.
While no timetable has been reported for Tatum's return, Derrick White and the rest of the Celtics must step up to fill the void left by the six-time All-Star.
