Doc Rivers catches stray from Phoenix Suns guard over visible hairline

Doc Rivers led the Milwaukee Bucks to a win in Game 1 of their first-round series against the Indiana Pacers. However, Rivers caught a stray from former Phoenix Suns and Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas, who made fun of the Bucks coach's hairline.

In a tweet, Thomas can't help but point out Rivers' hairline in tonight's game, which was more visible than usual. The two-time All-Star, who knows a thing or two about being bald, called out Rivers' barber or whoever is doing his hair to just stop.

"Whoever doing that to Doc's hair gotta stop 😂😂😂. Painting his line up lol," Thomas wrote.

Doc Rivers has rocked the same hairstyle since the mid-2000s when he was in charge of the Boston Celtics. The hairline was just too visible in Game 1, and Isaiah Thomas noticed it on television, watching the Milwaukee Bucks dismantle the Indiana Pacers.

Doc Rivers has coached five different teams in his career starting in 1999 with the Orlando Magic.

Rivers has led each of his teams to the postseason, winning one NBA championship, in 2008 with the Boston Celtics. He was also in charge of the LA Clippers and the Philadelphia 76ers before signing with the Milwaukee Bucks in late January.

Rivers took over Adrian Griffin, who was fired despite a 30-13 record. The Bucks struggled with Rivers as their coach, finishing 15-17 to end the regular season. They dropped to the No. 3 seed and faced the Indiana Pacers in the first round.

Despite the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks took care of the Pacers with ease led by Damian Lillard, who finished with 35 points. Khris Middleton added 23 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, while Bobby Portis added 15 points and 11 rebounds in place of Antetokounmpo in the starting lineup.

Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam was the only bright spot for Indiana. Siakam had 36 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks, while Tyrese Haliburton only had nine points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

Where is Isaiah Thomas now?

Isaiah Thomas never played for Doc Rivers in his NBA career, but where is the two-time All-Star now? Thomas plays for the Phoenix Suns after signing with them in March. He survived two 10-day contracts and was signed for the rest of the season.

Thomas was out of the league for almost two years before the Suns came calling. He was in the NBA G League following a stint with the Charlotte Hornets in the 2021-22 season.

He's back in the postseason with the Suns, but they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 1 of their first-round matchup.
