Draymond Green asserts LeBron James is greatest face of all time for NBA: “Never had a scandal, never been arrested, never photographed drunk”

LA Lakers superstar LeBron James is one of the biggest names in the history of the NBA. One of his peers believes that James is the "greatest face of all time" when it comes to representing the league.

Throughout his illustrious career, James has become a global superstar. He's also gone on to become the face of the NBA not only on the court, but away from it as well. The NBA has had plenty of talented stars who have brought excitement to the game on a nightly basis. However, there have also been individuals who have taken the sport of basketball to new heights.

These include Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan and now LeBron James. Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been open about the respect he has for the LA Lakers superstar. Green took a moment to talk to USA Today's Jeff Zillgitt about LeBron's career. Draymond went on to praise LeBron for how he's handled himself on and off the court.

“I recently said he’s the greatest face the NBA has ever had. Think about the day and age we live in – cameras, social media – he’s never had a scandal. Never been arrested. Never photo’d drunk. Those things go hand in hand with durability, longevity, consistency.”

LeBron and the LA Lakers are looking to generate some momentum in the Western Conference ahead of the All-Star break. While fans will watch closely when it comes to the all-time scoring record, James knows there's a bigger goal.

The Lakers (24-28) have two games remaining on their current five-game road trip. After consecutive losses to the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets, the Lakers picked up a big overtime win against the New York Knicks.
