Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green missed Thursday night’s road game against the Denver Nuggets with right calf tightness.

Green was previously listed as questionable for the game with right foot soreness before being cleared to play. However, he was re-added to the injury report as a late scratch from the game, according to ESPN's Kendra Andrews.

All of this likely indicates that Green's injury isn’t too serious. Thursday's game was also the second game of a back-to-back for the Warriors, who played Wednesday night in Minnesota. However, Green will likely still be considered questionable for the Warriors' next game on Saturday at home versus the Dallas Mavericks.

Through 46 games, Draymond Green is averaging 7.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks per game on 51.4% shooting.

Without Draymond Green on Thursday, the Golden State Warriors fell 134-117 to the top-seeded Denver Nuggets. The loss dropped Golden State to 1-5 without Green this season and 25-21 with him. With the Feb. 9 trade deadline fast approaching, Golden State now sits at 26-26 and ninth in the Western Conference. This is a far cry from their 53-29 record last season en route to the title.

The Warriors also rank 16th in both offensive (113.1) and defensive (113.5) ratings, indicating that they are a middle-of-the-pack team. So Golden State could be very active at the deadline.

During an appearance on 95.7 The Game's "Steiny & Guru" on Wednesday, Warriors general manager Bob Myers spoke about the team's roster. Myers explained that health has been a big issue for the team and has limited their room for error.

"I think we stack up good enough, that's assuming health, but you always want to add to your margin of error. It's not a margin of error that I'm entirely comfortable with as it stands,” Myers said.
"Our margin of error is not what it was. The record is not what it was. Comparing what I know about the teams we've had, I'd like to get a bigger margin of error. Can we do it? I don't know,” Myers continued.

Myers then explained that the Warriors will explore every avenue to improve their roster between now and the trade deadline.

"Like any team, we got to see if there's someone out there who fills that spot, is there someone in the buyout? Is there someone in the trades? Is there someone who even supplants that and becomes the sixth guy, seventh guy? I don't know. That's our job in the next eight days,” Myers said.
