Dwight Howard is set to compete in the famous ABC's reality TV dancing show "Dancing With The Stars." The former LA Lakers player will be competing in the 33rd season of the renowned TV show with Daniella Karagach, the winner of the 30th season.
Karagach, one of America's top professional dancers, took to her Instagram to give a sneak peek into behind-the-scenes of their preparation for the show. She shared a series of pictures with Howard, including shots from a photoshoot and video of them dancing together. Karagach also posted a video of her playing with her daughter, Nikita Sofia Pashkova.

In one of the pictures, she was seen posing for a photo with the NBA star against a glittery background. Another video features Howard showing his basketball skills.
Howard also posted a video on his Instagram. He was seen manifesting that he was the winner of the show, acknowledging an invisible crowd.
The show is set to premiere on September 17. Karagach previously won Season 30 with NBA player Iman Shumpert.
Dwight Howard says he has "been dancing his whole life"
Dwight Howard will be the ninth NBA player to participate in ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" TV show. He will join famous NBA names like Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Meta World Peace and Clyde Drexler to have participated in the famous TV show.
In an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America" on September 4, the 2020 NBA champion said that while he has danced his whole life and expressed his excitement for the competition.
"I think I’m gonna go out there and just have as much fun as possible," Howard told Good Morning America. "I’ve been dancing my whole life, but not ballroom dancing. This is gonna be my first time doing it so I’m just gonna have as much fun as possible and I’m so thankful that I have this opportunity."
The last time an NBA star competed in the famous TV show was Iman Shumpert in Season 30.
Dwight Howard has always been a fan of the show. When asked why he was participating in the show now, the 2020 NBA champion said that he has now some free time away from basketball and it was a perfect time for him to put in the work and win the competition.
