Former Milwaukee Bucks player Patrick Beverley left out his former teammate and Bucks ace Giannis Antetokounmpo from his top five power forwards in the NBA list. Beverley named them on his "The Pat Bev Podcast" when his co-host Adam Ferrone asked him to do so.
The former Bucks player started naming all the powers he thought were currently great in the NBA. He mentioned Draymond Green and Karl-Anthony Towns but was stopped midway through his speech.
Ferrone asked him if he was missing one of his former teammates from his list. Beverey revealed that he purposefully left out Giannis Antetokounmpo because he believed that the Greek Freak was not a power forward.
"Greek Freak is not a four!" Beverley said. "He's a three... I put the Greek Freak in the same position that I put Wemby, Greek, Bron, KD. Positionless Basketball."

Patrick Beverley clarified that Giannis Antetokounmpo's style of basketball was not confined to one single position. He even made a joke, saying that if he called Antetokounmpo to ask him about his position, the Bucks star would answer that he played everything.
Last season, Antetokounmpo struggled with his team to make the playoffs after a surprise coaching change and when the post-season arrived, he was sidelined with a season-ending injury.
Damian Lillard took the helm in his absence but was injured shortly after as well. Patrick Beverly stepped up and did his part but the Bucks were sent back home after suffering a 4-2 defeat at the hand the Pacers.
Since then, Giannis has successfully returned to the court. He participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he reached the quarterfinal of the tournament only to be knocked out by Germany.
Patrick Beverley on the other hand was a free agent after his Bucks contract ran out. The NBA veteran decided to move overseas and joined Hapoel Tel Aviv, a team in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
