The parody page NBACentel made a satirical post on X (formerly Twitter) about LeBron James and his son and teammate Bronny James. NBACentel's tweet contained a fake post from LeBron wherein he defended his son against fans judging him too quickly.
The fake post said Bronny will be in the Hall of Fame someday due to his work ethic. It also made a hilarious comparison, saying that while Thanasis Antetokounmpo has his brother Giannis, LeBron's got his son.

Despite it being a fake post, fans still took time to leave comments. Several fans' attention was especially caught by the Thanasis-Bronny comparison.

"Definitely gonna shine just like Thanasis," one person tweeted.
"I love the defense but the Thanasis comparison is killing me," one person said.
"By comparing him to Thanasis?" one person said.
Meanwhile, other fans said the post almost seemed like it came from LeBron James.
"Thought this was real until the Thanasis part," one person tweeted.
"I almost typed a whole think piece before I checked the username," another said.
"Is it bad that it’s actually hard to tell if this is a real LeBron post or not," one person said.
LeBron James talked about playing with his son in the Lakers media day
When the LA Lakers held its media day, a reporter asked LeBron James about the four-time champions' level of excitement in playing with Bronny James.
LeBron talked about the joy that he and his family felt in playing and working on his game with Bronny. He also spoke about how they push each other to get better.
He added that playing with young guys brings "a lot of energy and life" and cited his experience playing with some of the NBA's young stars in the Paris Olympics as another example. [1:00-1:58 minute mark]
The NBA preseason tipped off not long after the NBA's media day and fans finally caught a glimpse of Bronny James in action. The Lakers took on the Minnesota Timberwolves but LeBron did not suit up.
In that game, Bronny came off the bench and played 16 minutes. He made one of his six field goal attempts, registering just two points. He also had one rebound and one assist, but he shined most on defense.
He registered three blocks, including one reminiscent of LeBron's highlight chase-down rejections.
The Lakers have five more preseason games on their schedule, which should give Bronny plenty of time to warm up ahead of the season. They have two games against the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors and one against the Milwaukee Bucks.
LeBron James will likely see limited minutes in one of these contests so fans can expect to see him and Bronny in action together soon.
