Milwaukee Bucks v Brooklyn Nets
Giannis Antetokounmpo goes up for a layup

The Milwaukee Bucks continued their hot streak on Wednesday (Mar. 1) night, beating the Orlando Magic 139-117 for their 16th straight win, sending fans buzzing with excitement.

The Bucks have undoubtedly looked like one of, if not the best, teams in the NBA in the last few months. Racking up some impressive wins, thanks to tremendous performances from the entire unit, Milwaukee is now among the favorites in the title race.

Thanks to the sustained brilliance of Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks racked up their latest win against the Magic and now have the longest active winning streak in the NBA. The Bucks are undoubtedly on a roll, holding off the Boston Celtics to retain atop the East.

Now 45-17 on the season, the Bucks have the best record in the NBA. Closely edging out the Celtics by half a game, the top-seeded Bucks are mounting a serious title charge.

The Bucks knocked down a season-high 26 3-pointers against the Magic and also saw Giannis Antetokounmpo explode for 31 points. Their defensive effort was just as impressive. Although Magic guard Cole Anthony notched up 28 points, Magic star rookie Paulo Banchero was restricted to only nine.

Milwaukee's perimeter defense was equally solid, restricting Orlando to 27.3% from beyond the arc. While also factoring in the 45.7% shooting from the field as a whole, it's safe to say that Milwaukee made Orlando work for every bucket.

Fans were ecstatic about Milwaukee's latest display, with one remarking:

"See Celtics? It's not hard."

Here are some of the other fan reactions to the Bucks' 16-game winning streak:

The Milwaukee Bucks will now look to extend their winning streak against the Philadelphia 76ers at home on Saturday (Mar. 4) and improve the gap on second-placed Boston.

Can Milwaukee Bucks win it all this year?

The top-ranked Milwaukee Bucks certainly look like favorites to win it all this year. WIth Giannis Antetokounmpo playing at a MVP level, the Bucks have looked like a threat. However, all-around contributions from the team have bolstered their championship-winning credentials.

Milwaukee have dealt with their fair share of injury scares, though. Khris Middleton and Antetokounmpo have been on and off the court sporadically, but Jrue Holiday has stepped up to keep the ship afloat.

With a relatively healthy roster, the Milwaukee Bucks have looked like an indomitable force in the East. Considering that there are very few teams with the firepower and chemistry to topple Milwaukee, it's fair to say that the Bucks have a great chance of going all the way in 2023.
