DK Metcalf left his imprint all over the 2023 NBA All-Star - Ruffles Celebrity game. The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver won MVP honors after leading Team Dwyane to an 81-78 win. Metcalf impressed with his athleticism, dunking and swatting the ball throughout the contest.
Metcalf produced the best play of the night late in the fourth quarter when he blocked a jumper and ran down the floor to complete a Tomahawk dunk, giving his team a six-point lead with one minute left.

NBA Twitter was thoroughly impressed with Metcalf's performance. His highlight play from the fourth quarter drew a bevy of hilarious reactions from fans. One of them took a jab at Ben Simmons for his lack of aggressiveness of late, saying Metcalf is better than the Nets star, writing:
"Better than Ben Simmons"
Another suggested the DK Metcalf earned himself a starting spot for the struggling Chicago Bulls, tweeting:
"DK would honestly start on the Bulls"

Several athletes have been part of the celebrity All-Star game, but not everyone has left their mark as DK Metcalf. The NFL star began the game with a thunderous dunk and added five more posters. Metcalf displayed tremendous athleticism.
His size and strength made him a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the court. He pursued football, but he could've been a solid player if he pursued basketball. It's far-fetched to speculate how good of an NBA player he would be, but looking at his physical traits, Metcalf may have made it to the league.
Metcalf recorded a vertical jump of 40.5 inches at the NFL combine in 2019. The average vertical jump in the NBA is 28 inches. The Seattle Seahawks' vertical jump is impressive for someone his height (6'4").
For instance, 6'9" LeBron James' vertical jump is 44 inches. The LA Lakers superstar displayed freakish athletic abilities when he was younger, so in context, it speaks volumes about Metcalf's abilities.
