As a result of India's victory, Qatar have slipped to the third position in the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers standings with four points from three outings, having won a game and lost two. They have a point difference of nine, having scored 211 points and conceded 202.
Meanwhile, Kazakhstan slip to the third position with five points from four matches, including two wins and as many losses. They have a point difference of -21, courtesy of scoring 205 and conceding 226.

Iran, on the other hand, remain atop the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers points table with six points. They have won all three group-stage matches and have a point difference of 55, having scored 182 points and conceded 127.
Iran will face last-placed Qatar in a group-stage encounter on Monday at 8:00 pm local time (10:30 pm IST) at the Al-Gharafa Sports Club Multi-Purpose Hall in Doha. Iran will start as the clear favorites.
A win will earn Iran a direct qualification into the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 scheduled in Saudi Arabia next year.
