The Brooklyn Nets feature in the headline news yet again as reports of head coach Steve Nash being fired do rounds on the internet. Taking the Nets' recent history into account, ESPN analyst Zach Lowe vented his frustrations with the team's decision-making and general practices.

ESPN analyst Zach Lowe expressed his frustration with the team's functioning on NBA Today. He tore into the Brooklyn Nets as he referred to them as the "greatest theoretical team in NBA history" after their playoff showing in 2021.

He then went on to rehash the Nets' recent history dating from Kyrie Irving's issues with being vaccinated all the way up to Steve Nash's departure.

The analyst appeared visibly frustrated while shedding light on the sheer chaos that has taken hold of the Brooklyn Nets organization over the last 16 months. After surmising the Nets' recent history, Zach Lowe ended his rant by saying:

"This team has won one playoff series in three years. One. Do something! Get something right and then we'll talk about something else, because I'm tired of this."

The Brooklyn Nets have been a chaotic team to follow over the course of the last few months. Since careening out of the playoffs, the Nets have faced wave after wave of internal drama.

Beginning with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving's trade rumors early in free agency, the Nets were practically scrambling all over the place to keep the team together. To add to these problems, Durant also threw down the gauntlet to the front office as he called for Steve Nash and Sean Marks to be fired.

The whole situation started to ease up prior to training camp. However, the results on the floor were less than satisfactory. With a 2-5 record to start the season, the Nets are one of the most disorganized teams in the league. Naturally, a change in regime was in order.

News of Steve Nash's firing caught some people by surprise. However, this has done very little to solve the Nets' problems.

Following Steve Nash's departure, the Brooklyn Nets remain in a state of flux. With interim head coach Jacque Vaughn stepping on short notice, Brooklyn suffered yet another loss.

With a 2-6 record, the Nets are now ranked 13th in the East. With aspirations to win the NBA title, this is not a position Brooklyn will want to be in for long.

The Brooklyn Nets set their sights on Ime Udoka

In light of Steve Nash's departure, the Brooklyn Nets feature a huge hole in their coaching staff. With several options on the horizon, the Nets have reportedly set their sights on suspended Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka.

Udoka is currently facing suspension from the Boston Celtics after violating organizational guidelines. While he has been suspended for a year, the Celtics haven't denied him the opportunity to look for another coaching job.

The addition of Udoka could be largely beneficial to the Nets. As a top-notch head coach with experience in dealing with superstars, Udoka could be the right fit for the Nets.

However, given the drama surrounding the Nets and the additional drama surrounding Udoka, Brooklyn may not have the most conducive environment for basketball at the moment.
