Since the Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated in the first round, Giannis Antetokounmpo has become a big name in the rumor mill. However, just before the offseason officially gets underway, it seems a blockbuster trade might not be in the cards.
In recent years, Antetokounmpo has by far been one of the most loyal stars in the NBA. Though he's had unwavering loyalty to the team that drafted him, many expected his feelings to begin to fade slowly. Antetokounmpo has made it clear he wants to compete for another championship, and things currently are, Milwaukee has minimal assets to build a contender around him.
While speaking anonymously with Adam Zagoria, one NBA executive touched on Giannis Antetokounmpo's future in Milwaukee. They don't expect the Bucks to trade the homegrown superstar because they feel they can still be a title threat with him leading the charge.

“Giannis isn’t going anywhere this summer,” the executive told NJ Advance Media on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to speak for Milwaukee. “The Bucks feel they can still win with him.”

Last month, Shams Charania reported that Antetokounmpo had an "open-mindedness" for playing somewhere other than the Bucks. Despite this, the two-time MVP has never come out and officially asked to be moved.
At 30, Antetokounmpo is still at the peak of his powers. He is fresh off another MVP-level campaign where he averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists.
NBA insider weighs in on Giannis Antetokounmpo trade discourse
In the weeks following the Milwaukee Bucks' elimination from the playoffs, it looked like a Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes could be underway this summer. Things have drastically changed since then, as most signs now point towards him staying put in Milwaukee.
During Tuesday's installment of "Get Up" on ESPN, NBA insider Brian Windhorst chimed in with the latest regarding the superstar forward. He cited that there is no market forming for Antetokounmpo because the Bucks have no intentions of moving him.
"Right now, there is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade market," Windhorst said. "There is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade discussions. He has not asked for it. The Bucks are not looking to trade him."
Seeing that the offseason hasn't even really begun yet, things could still change. However, as things currently stand, it doesn't look like Antetokounmpo will be made available.
There is no scenario where the Bucks willingly walk away from their star. The only way they'll even begin to consider moving him is if he demands a trade. Until then, the franchise will look to put the proper pieces around Antetokounmpo in hopes of getting back in the title hunt.
