After announcing his retirement from international play last week, Patty Mills is continuing his run in the NBA. Reports emerged Wednesday morning that he'll be signing a one-year deal with the Utah Jazz worth $3.3 million.
Fresh off his 36th birthday, Mills finds himself with a new NBA contract. At this stage of his career, he'll likely serve as a veteran presence for the young Jazz roster.

Following this signing, fans reacted to Patty Mills opting to join the Jazz in free agency. Some made jokes about Utah hoping to get the FIBA version of the former champion.

"Nice pick up Jazz," one fan said.
"Good for him. He's still kicking as wily vet." Another fan said.
"Great addition for the jazz," said one fan.
Mills started last season with the Atlanta Hawks but ended up getting traded to the Miami Heat. Across 32 games with both teams, he averaged 4.0 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
