Nikola Jokic had another triple-double in the Denver Nuggets' 134-124 overtime win against the LA Clippers on Sunday (Feb. 26). Jokic showed why he could win the MVP again this season, but fans were focused on the scratches on his arms.

Standing at 6-foot-11 and weighing around 284 pounds, Jokic is difficult to guard for most opposing teams. Being physical could work at times, with the reigning MVP showing visible scars and scratches over the season. He's not bothered by that, though, and explained why after the win over the Clippers.

"I mean, to be honest, I'm wrestling with my brothers since I'm four, so I can wrestle a long time, a long time," Jokic said.

Nikola Jokic has been superb this season, averaging 24.8 points, 11.7 rebounds, 10.0 assists and 1.3 assists. He's also shooting 63.3% from the field. 39.8% from beyond the arc and 82.4% from the free-throw line.

Only a handful of players can stop Jokic in the paint, while others resort to physicality to slow him down. Fans have noticed how "The Joker" had had scars in his arms in the last few games, but it has really been happening for most of the season.

Here are some of the best reactions to Jokic's scars on Reddit and Twitter:

Nikola Jokic is having another amazing season, averaging a triple-double and leading the Denver Nuggets to the top the Western Conference. Jokic has a chance to win his third straight NBA MVP trophy, but can he do it?

There have only been three players in league history to win three consecutive MVP awards — Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain and Larry Bird. Jokic is coming off back-to-back MVP seasons, beating players like Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo for the award.

NBA.com's Kia MVP Ladder has Jokic atop the rankings before the All-Star break. It remains to be seen if someone like Antetokounmpo or Embiid can dethrone him. The Serb is also the odds-on favorite to win the award this season, according to several betting sites like FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook and PointsBet.
