Back in June 2023, LeBron James confidently stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that Bronny is better than most players in the league. A screenshot of that post was posted on X by Freezing Cold Takes on July 16, and fans have since roasted LeBron James now that they have seen Bronny play.

It's clear that not many are satisfied with Bronny's performance. Fans have criticized him for his struggles with the LA Lakers in the Summer League.

"Man Bronny definitely better than some of these cats I've been watching on league pass today S**t lightweight hilarious," James had posted on X.

After seeing James' old post on X, the fans have decided to make fun of the young Lakers point guard. Here are some of what they had to say about Bronny.

"I think Bron meant in Call of duty," one fan referenced Bronny's previous Call of Duty win.

"He's so insecure and arrogant at same time makes it imposs to root for him," another fan said.
"Good Dad.. Bad talent evaluator 😂," one fan still gave props to LeBron being a father.

Fortunately, there were a few who came to Bronny's defense.

"What a weird tweet for a 19 y/o 2nd round pick. Anything for engagement tho," one fan said.

How has LeBron James' son played so far?

LeBron James' son has not had the best outing in the league so far. He has played in two California Classic games and two Las Vegas Summer League games. In those four games, he hasn't performed as expected.

In his first game, which was against the Sacramento Kings, he scored only four points, grabbed two rebounds and two assists. James shot 2-9 from the field, which was excusable as it was his first game. He followed it up with a performance of three points, five rebounds and three assists. Defensively, he performed well, recording two steals and three blocks against the Miami Heat.

In Las Vegas, he continued his shooting slump. He had eight points and shot 3-14 from the field, including a 0-8 performance from beyond the arc against the Houston Rockets. In his most recent outing against the Boston Celtics on July 15, Bronny recorded two points, three rebounds and an assist.
