Anthony Edwards has been on fire from beyond the arc to start the 2024-25 NBA season. The Minnesota Timberwolves star has been among the best 3-point shooters in the league through nine games this season, showing drastic improvement from last season.
Following Friday night's game versus the Portland Trailblazers, Edwards discussed his high 3-point volume to start the season, questioning opposing teams for leaving him open.
"(Micah Nori) be telling me like, 'Try to get downhill.' I'm like, 'Bro, they're going under.' I work on my game too much to try to force going downhill if they're gonna keep going under. I'm gonna shoot that. I really be surprised at this point, like, I made two threes in the first quarter today."
