Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa Bryant reacts to Dodgers' title win
Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa Bryant recently reacted to the LA Dodgers' eighth World Series title win. Vanessa's reaction was reminiscent of the Black Mamba's famous saying from the 2009 NBA finals series.
Vanessa uploaded a picture of the Dodgers win on her Instagram story and accompanied her reaction in the caption in front of her 15.9 million followers. She wrote:
"Job's Finished. 💪💙"
After the LA Lakers had taken a commanding 2-0 lead in the 2009 NBA finals against the Orlando Magic, the Black Mamba attended a press conference where he issued the statement "Job's not finished." Kobe Bryant's answer was a response to a reporter questioning him about his happiness in leading the series.
The Black Mamba made it clear that there was nothing to be happy about as the series didn't end. The Lakers went on to lift the Larry O'Brien trophy that season after beating the Magic with a 4-1 record.
