However Conley has beeb listed as available ahead of the game. He played the last game after missing Game 5, when the Timberwolves produced one of their worst offensive games, losing 112-97. Anthony Edwards had 18 points on 15 attempts without Conley in the lineup.

However, the veteran point guard's return prompted the Timberwolves' massive 115-70 win in Game 6 to save their season. Conley finished with 13 points and five assists, shooting 5-of-9 in 31 minutes, while Edwards benefitted from his backcourt partner's presence, producing 27 points on 47.1% shooting.

With a conference finals appearance at stake, Conley will play through the injury for Sunday's do-or-die matchup.

Conley is on the Timberwolves' injury report, citing a right soleus strain. He was on the injury report for Game 5, citing right Achilles soreness. It's the same muscle despite the different reports between his previous absence and inclusion on Sunday's injury report.

Conley suffered the injury in Game 4 at home after attempting a corner 3 in the dying moments of that matchup. It was a non-contact blow. Nickeil Walker-Alexander started in Conley's place in Game 5, and that could be the case again if Conley is out.
