Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry is in contention to return for Saturday's game against the Phoenix Suns after a one-game absence. The four-time NBA champion was held out of Wednesday's 105-101 loss to the OKC Thunder, citing bilateral knee patellofemoral pain. Curry is questionable because of the same injury before the contest against the Suns.

Coach Steve Kerr revealed the extent of the injury on Wednesday. He said the MRI was negative, but Curry had been "banged up" over the last few games and his knees bothered him. Kerr mentioned his star player is likely to play against Phoenix.

Curry hasn't played in five days, so he's had adequate rest to heal up. Despite the questionable status, which is deemed 50-50 by a textbook definition, the two-time MVP should suit up against former co-star Kevin Durant.
