Tyrese Haliburton is ruled out for game against the Boston Celtics for Indiana Pacers' Eastern Conference finals elimination Game 4 on Monday. Haliburton missed Game 3, too. He had the same status before the Pacers downgraded him to out hours before tipoff.
Haliburton exited Game 2 with multiple injuries and didn't return. He's reportedly tried to make a comeback with the season on the line. However, the extent of his injury seems concerning and he'll miss Monday's contest. With Haliburton sidelined for this game, the All-Star may have played his last game of the season, as Indiana isn't expected to avoid a sweep without him.

What happened to Tyrese Haliburton?
Haliburton was on the Pacers' injury report, citing a left hamstring soreness. He sustained a non-contact blow during the third quarter of Game 2 in Boston. He seemingly pulled a muscle after trying to change directions while guarding Jayson Tatum and immediately left the floor and never returned.

Haliburton suffered a left hamstring injury on Jan. 9 against the Celtics, leading to 10 missed games. He has re-aggravated the same issue. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, he may have played his final game of the season.
The NBA insider compared the situation to the New York Knicks playing a hobbled OG Anunoby in Game 7 of the conference semis, who was also dealing with a hamstring injury. Wojnarowski said that the Pacers are unwilling to risk Haliburton's health with that hamstring, which could force him to miss Game 4 against his wishes.

Tyrese Haliburton averaged 18.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 8.2 assists and 1.3 steals, shooting on 49/38/85 splits in 15 outings in the playoffs.
