James Harden out against the Denver Nuggets

James Harden is listed as out for tonight (March 28)'s game against the Denver Nuggets, which will be his fourth straight game missed since last week.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed earlier in the day that the Philadelphia 76ers star will miss this game due to an Achilles injury despite being able to participate in the team's shootaround earlier.

According to Woj, the Sixers will be without Harden and Joel Embiid against the Nuggets. It was a highly anticipated matchup between the top MVP candidates in Embiid and Nikola Jokic. The Cameroonian big man has been ruled out due to a calf injury.

The Sixers are third in the Eastern Conference and have clinched a playoff spot. They're on course to have a 50-win season, which will boost the chances of Embiid winning the MVP award.
