Joel Embiid reportedly shoves columnist over recent report referencing 76ers star's late brother and son
Joel Embiid reportedly got into an altercation with one of the columnists following the Philadephia 76ers 124-107 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday (Nov. 2). The center continued to be on the bench as part of his injury management. However, per ESPN and NBA insider Shams Charania, the Philadelphia superstar had a melee soon after the loss.

Per his tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Charania wrote:
"76ers’ Joel Embiid got in an altercation with a columnist following tonight’s game in Philadelphia. Embiid took issue with a recent column that referenced his late brother and son, and Embiid shoved the columnist. No punch."
