Juan Toscano-Anderson celebrates with Steph Curry

LeBron James and Steph Curry are presented as two of the most durable players in the NBA. However, as per LA Lakers forward Juan Toscano-Anderson, this aspect of the two superstars isn't something that comes easily.

LeBron James and Steph Curry have set themselves apart when it comes to their work ethic. However, this has also become an aspect of their durability and longevity.

Juan Toscano-Anderson is one of the few players who has had the opportunity to play alongside both James and Curry. Having experienced playing with two of the best to ever do it, the young forward has been a spectator to the two working on their craft.

A particular aspect of the two superstars that JTA admired was their durability. However, Toscano-Anderson was aware of the amount of work needed to stay in such shape. Speaking on the topic on the latest episode of "The Buckets" podcast, he said:

"It's literally a nonstop process, that's the best way I can put it. When I first started playing pro I would go lift, go to the gym, stretch maybe and then my day would be done at noon, one o'clock. They're in there all day.
"They're just paying extra attention, detail to all this little s**t. Like Steph f**ked up his wrist, so he's in there doing extra wrist work, had bad ankles, doing extra ankle work, extra core work, all that stuff.
"All that stuff matters. And that's when I started to realize everything matters, the way you eat, the way you sleep, what you put in your body on a day-to-day basis."

Toscano-Anderson has missed a lot of time this season due to ankle injuries. Taking inspiration from LeBron James and Steph Curry, he highlighted the importance of taking care of one's body the right way.

Having picked up some good habits from the superstars, he added:

"That's one thing I'm seeing from these greats is how much they take care of their body. I was getting a massage once every three weeks before, now I'm getting a massage once every three, four days. For sure, I'm taking care of my body at a different level and obviously I want to play this game a little bit longer and get as much money as I can out of it."

As JTA said, it is a non-stop process. LeBron's investment in remaining fit and healthy for every game, even at this stage in his career, is well-documented.

However, Curry, who suffered a shoulder injury, can be seen making good progress towards recovery.

LeBron James is practically the face of longevity in the NBA. Dominating even in year 20, the LA Lakers superstar is truly cut from a different cloth. Having notched 30+ points in seven consecutive games, James shows no signs of slowing down even at the age of 37.

Similarly, Steph Curry has also earned a lot of praise for his ability to play at a high level at this stage in his career. Considering his off-ball play, Curry puts his body through hell with his constant movement. With the demands made of his stamina, the Warriors superstar does an impressive job of staying healthy and available.

While Steph Curry missed a lot of time in his career due to injuries, the Warriors superstar has worked tirelessly to return stronger. This, in itself, is a testament to the work and dedication required to play at such a high level.
