The Indiana Pacers are getting ready for Game 3 on Tuesday against the OKC Thunder at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Indianapolis is honoring its team with a gesture that has been done by another team in the 2025 NBA playoffs.
The city renamed its streets after several players. Some of the streets are now called Haliburton Road, Turner Lane, Toppin Avenue and Bryant Boulevard. This is to congratulate the team for making it to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000.

During the Eastern Conference finals, the New York Knicks did the same thing before the start of the series. It was the team's first time in the conference finals in 25 years and the city honored the entire roster. However, the Knicks lost to Tyrese Haliburton's Pacers.

Pacers star gives an update on his injury
After the Pacers' 123-107 loss in Game 2, reporters noticed that Haliburton wasn't feeling well. Following his postgame interview, he was seen limping as he left the podium.
On Tuesday, Indiana practiced and had their Finals Media Day availability. Pacers coach Rick Carlisle talked about Haliburton's injury. According to him, he's aware that the two-time All-Star has some level of discomfort but has been getting better each day.
The star point guard addressed it in front of the media by shutting down the talk about his injury.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Really just a lower leg thing. I'll leave it at that. I don't think there's anything more to elaborate. I feel fine and I'll be ready to go for Game 3," Haliburton said.
In the first two games, Haliburton has averaged 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and six assists. The Pacers need their superstar to be aggressive on the offensive end to take over the series.
