NBA analyst believes Nets is aware of Kyrie Irving's fallacious behavior: “Kyrie pooped the bed, to put it politely pooped the bed right there on national TV”

Not a lot went right for Kyrie Irving during Tuesday's loss to the Chicago Bulls. The rough performance came in the midst of yet another controversy. Irving recorded just four points and shot 0-for-6 from beyond the arc.

It's been an up-and-down couple of weeks for Irving. Irving has shot just 28% from 3-point range in eight games. But it isn't his poor shooting that's making headlines. It's his antics off the court.

Irving came under fire last week after sharing a link on his Twitter account to a controversial book and film titled "From Hebrews to Negroes." He had a back-and-forth with ESPN's Nick Friedell during a post-game news conference. The two argued over Irving's decision to post anti-Semitic content on his social media. Irving abruptly ended the news conference and walked off the podium.

The Nets parted ways with coach Steve Nash the following day. In their first game without Nash, the Nets lost 108-99 to the Bulls. They fell to 2-6 on the season.

NBA analyst Tim MacMahon had this to say about the loss:

"I don't know if he (Nash) actually watched the Bulls/Nets. The Bulls and Karma made a comeback for a win in that game. But if he did, I bet you he enjoyed Kyrie's performance. Kyrie pooped the bed right there on national TV."

Kyrie Irving's disappointing performance against the Bulls

The day after Irving's verbal sparring session with Friedell, the Nets hosted the Chicago Bulls in a nationally televised game. Kyrie Irving finished the game with three turnovers and a -14 rating in 32 minutes of action. The team ran out of steam towards the end of the game. They scored just 19 points in the fourth quarter, and lost by nine points.

The Nets refused to make Kyrie Irving available to the media following the game. It was probably the right decision. He can't be trusted right now to have a platform for his unfiltered thoughts.

MacMahon said:

"We're not going to get his explanation of that bed pooping because the Nets aren't letting Kyrie talk to the media right now. He can't be trusted to do anything but make a complete ass of himself."

Nets restrict Kyrie Irving from media conference

Nets GM Sean Marks revealed during a press conference that Irving wouldn't be doing media rounds that night. They will wait for the controversy to die down before making the All-Star guard available to the media.

Marks said:

“I think everybody knows he’s going to have to answer these questions at some point. He hasn’t shied away in the past. I think the last post-game meeting didn’t go well. We’re not trying to cover it up, this is something that needs to be addressed. But let’s address it in the right form and fashion. And when that is, we’ll let you guys know.” said MacMahon.
