It looks like the LA Lakers are facing rainbows and sunshine with their recent accomplishments. The main roster recently achieved a three-game win streak by defeating the Brooklyn Nets, Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs. To add to that, their G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers, has also achieved their highest winning margin in franchise history.

The South Bay Lakers recently defeated the Santa Cruz Warriors 111-91 led by Bryce Hamilton. South Bay prevented any Santa Cruz player from scoring at least 20 points.

Hamilton was brilliant with his 29 points. Scotty Pippen Jr. played a perfect second fiddle as he scored 22 points and dished out seven assists. Shaquille Harrison also added an impressive six steals and eight boards.

With the way things are going for the Lakers at the moment, it's clear that momentum is on their side. The question now is, can both the main roster and the G League team maintain their good fortunes?

The LA Lakers have been on a roll as they accomplished a three-game win streak without LeBron James. Anthony Davis has stepped up and has put up figures similar to a Lakers-era Shaquille O'Neal.

As of Nov. 20, Davis is the first Laker since Shaq to score 30+ points and grab 15+ rebounds on consecutive nights. AD's efforts have paid off and translated into three victories in a row.

Anthony Davis is undoubtedly carrying the LA Lakers at the moment. So far, he's averaged 35 points, 17.3 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks in their past three games. His best game among the three was when they defeated the Detroit Pistons 128-121. AD had 38 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks.

Credit should also be given to his teammates who've been setting up his plays and matching his competitive energy. Russell Westbrook has fully embraced his role on the bench and is now an effective point guard for the Lakers.

In the past three games, Russ has averaged a double-double with 11.3 points and 11.3 assists. He's magnificently orchestrated the offense and it seems to be working for the Lakers.

Then there's Lonnie Walker IV, Austin Reaves and Troy Brown Jr., who have become solid role players. These three players have been efficient in helping Davis on offense. The Purple and Gold right now look like a well-oiled machine. All LA Lakers fans can do at the moment is hope that the team can keep the momentum.
