The Lakers shot 6-for-31 from deep and gave up midway through the fourth quarter. LeBron James barely managed to score 10 points on 4-for-16 shooting, including 0-for-4 from deep. The four-time MVP is now 0-for-19 in 3-pointers in his last four games.
Anthony Edwards had eight points, going 3-for-13, including 1-for-5 from behind the arc. Ant-Man had support from his crew, though. Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, Naz Reid and Nickeil Alexander-Walker combined for 65 points, 19 rebounds and nine assists.

LA Lakers vs Minnesota Timberwolves Game Summary
The LA Lakers took on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday on short rest. LA had less than 24 hours after beating the Utah Jazz 105-104 before the tip-off against the Timberwolves. Austin Reaves remained out, but D’Angelo Russell returned from a one-game absence.
Russell started in place of Reaves and contributed 16 first-half points to lead the Lakers in scoring. Anthony Davis contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists. LeBron James had another rough-shooting night and finished with five points on 2-for-10 shooting, including 0-for-2 from deep.
Julius Randle, Mike Conley and Naz Reid combined for 29 first-half points to lead the Timberwolves. Anthony Edwards struggled, scoring five points on a 2-for-8 clip. The hosts took a 56-44 halftime lead.
The Lakers and Timberwolves struggled to score in the third quarter. Minnesota won the period 21-19 to take a 77-64 advantage heading into the fourth quarter. The Lakers played a step late, allowing the hosts to hold a significant edge with a quarter left.
JJ Redick took out Anthony Davis and LeBron James with 6:09 in the fourth quarter and the Timberwolves leading 96-73. LA’s 6-for-31 shooting from behind the arc was a big reason for the blowout loss. Minnesota made 15-for-35 attempts from the same area to win 109-80.
