The Lakers invited an experienced wing, but he declined
The Lakers reportedly invited veteran forward Cedi Osman to participate in their training camp, but he unfortunately declined. According to Marc Stein, the former teammate of LeBron James didn't have any assurance he'll make the regular season roster.
Osman previously played for the San Antonio Spurs, where he was one of the veteran players who had ample playing time. He played for 72 games and knocked down 38.9% of his shots from beyond the arc.
The Turkish basketball star played with James in the 2017-18 season, before the four-time champion joined the Purple & Gold.
