LeBron James had 27 points in the LA Lakers’ 105-104 road win against the Utah Jazz on Sunday. He went 12-for-28 but finished with a 0-for-9 clip from behind the arc. James has not made a triple in 15 attempts in his last three games.

Fans reacted to the four-time MVP’s woeful shooting from deep against the Jazz:

“This is why he should’ve been in the gym and not tweeting political garbage supporting Kamala instead”

One fan said:

“This is the “GOAT” according to Bronsexuals”

Another fan added:

“At some point you gotta stop shooting”

@jbondwagon jumped in:

“Can’t believe that all it takes is a Kyle Korver record-tying accomplishment to make my goat washed”

@percwalk couldn’t resist:

“Shooting better then curry”

LeBron James last made a 3-pointer in the fourth quarter against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. James’ 26-footer with 7:12 remaining in the final period in Phoenix gave him 2,450 for his career to tie Kyle Korver for seventh in made 3-pointers in NBA history. Since getting that mark, he has gone 0-for-15.

James’ last 3-point miss against the Utah Jazz on Sunday could have been costly. LA had a 105-104 lead when his long-range shot went short. However, the Jazz could not capitalize on that miss with poor clock management and a Collin Sexton fumble.

LeBron James has a chance to break out of his slump on Monday against the Utah Jazz

LeBron James could snap out of a 0-for-15 slump from deep on Monday when the LA Lakers visit the Minnesota Timberwolves. A triple by 20x All-Star would also push him to sixth place in the NBA all-time 3-pointers made ladder.

It remains to be seen, though, if the Lakers will let him play. He looked gassed on Friday in his team’s 101-93 loss to the OKC Thunder at home. James seemed to have his legs versus the Jazz, but the second night of a back-to-back set could make his status iffy.

If James is held out on Monday, his next chance to convert another 3-pointer will be against the Miami Heat on Wednesday.
