Lakers superstar LeBron James made an incredible shot ahead of the team’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. In a video shared by the Lakers on social media, the four-time NBA champion is seen launching the ball from the opposite free throw line during pre-game practice.

LeBron’s shot was spot-on, hitting nothing but net. Energized by the near-full-court shot, he celebrated by gesturing for the crowd to make some noise, even though the stands were empty.

LeBron later shared the video on his Instagram story, using emojis to capture the moment.

Over the years, LeBron has developed into a strong 3-point shooter. Last season, the four-time NBA champion posted a career-best 41.0% from beyond the arc. This season, the 20-time NBA All-Star has been on fire from deep, shooting an impressive 46.8% to start the 2024-25 campaign.

So far this season, LeBron is averaging 24.0 points per game on 51.1% shooting from the field. He’s also contributing 6.9 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game.

Social media buzzed as the video of LeBron James sinking a near half-court shot went viral. Fans shared candid reactions, with many X users praising the Lakers superstar.

"ugh. what can’t my glorious king do?!? nah but seriously, this is great content. If I was his age I wouldn’t be so worried about the goat convo anymore, gotta go out and just have fun," a fan wrote.
"That’s insane range! LeBron still redefining what’s possible on the court #Unreal," wrote another fan.
"He should have the green light to take these at any moment let’s be real," said another.

Meanwhile, LeBron is eager to help the Lakers get back on track with a home win against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Lakers are looking to rebound after a tough five-game road trip, where they dropped four games.
