The launch of the NBA's city edition jerseys has been a highly anticipated event among fans over recent seasons. The Warriors "Oakland Forever" jerseys, the Miami Heat "Vice" jerseys, and the Phoenix Suns "Valley" editions are some that instantly come to mind. However, despite their standing in culture and the attention they brought to the concept of city edition jerseys, Nike seems to have thrown the towel this year.

The fandom seems to be absolutely repulsed, with them even being identified as the single worst set of jerseys to hit the market in years. And to achieve this status, in a league that experimented with half sleeves, is a lowlight indeed.
