Mark Cuban has publically spoken in favor of Kamala Harris since the start of her campaign. Following the United States Presidential Debate on Tuesday night, Mark Cuban did so yet again, speaking out against Donald Trump's tariff proposal and in favor of Harris' corporate tax plan.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mark Cuban offered a simplified look at Kamala Harris' corporate tax plan in regards to Trump's tariff proposal.

"I’m about to show you that companies that import products are more profitable under @KamalaHarris corp tax plan than under the Republican plan with tariffs ! This is a simplification. But the math is the math."

"Let's look at what happens under @KamalaHQ. $100 in sales minus $70 COGS = $30 gross margin. No tariff. That leaves $30 pre-tax net. Multiply $30 times the Harris corporation income tax of 28% = $8.40 in taxes. $30 - $8.40 = $21.60 in after-tax profit. Trump after tax and tariff = $18.17. Harris after tax and tariff = $21.60."

During the debate, Trump spoke on his tariff plan, calling for a 20 percent tariff on imported goods.

"[Americans] aren't going to have higher prices ... Who's going to have higher prices is China and all these countries that have been ripping us off for years ... China was paying us hundreds of billions of dollars."

Mark Cuban remains persistent in his support of Kamala Harris and her economic policies. Ultimately, tariffs contribute to higher prices for American consumers, and Cuban believes Harris will attempt to address this issue with her proposed plan.

Mark Cuban is among many figures in sports publically supporting Kamala Harris

While he may be the most prominent Harris supporter in sports, Mark Cuban is not the only supporter of the Democratic nominee in the sports landscape.

Two Golden State Warriors stars, Steve Kerr and Steph Curry, have both publically endorsed Kamala Harris. Kerr made an appearance at the Democratic National Convention on August 19, and Steph Curry prepared a speech with a message of support that was shown on August 22.

Another basketball star offered her support to Harris, as Caitlin Clark spoke about liking a social media post from Taylor Swift in which she endorsed Kamala Harris.

"Continue to educate yourself on the candidates we have, policies they're supporting," Clark said (per FOX 59). "I think that's the biggest thing you can do. That's what I would recommend to every single person that has the opportunity in our country."

A trio of New York Liberty players also showed their support for Kamala Harris. Ahead of their matchup versus the Seattle Storm on September 5, Betnijah Laney-Hamilton, Kennedy Burke and Courtney Vandersloot all wore shirts to show their support for Harris.
