Megan Thee Stallion to perform at NCAA March Madness Festival

Megan Thee Stallion is set to hit the stage for the AT&T Block Party as part of the 2023 NCAA March Madness Music Festival. The event will take place on Friday, Mar. 31, ahead of the Final Four on Saturday, Apr. 1. Based on the reports, this will be her first concert of the year.

The event will take place over three days, with several different performers set to take the stage. On Friday, the AT&T Block Party will take place at Discovery Green beginning at 5:30 pm ET (1:30 pm PT). Performing at the sold-out event will be J.I.D, Omar Apollo and Megan Thee Stallion.

The next night, the Move by Coca-Cola event will take place at 4 pm ET (12 pm PT) at Discovery Green. The day's event will see Lil Nas X perform with special guest Maggie Rogers before the Final Four games begin for the day.

On Sunday, Apr. 2, some of Country Music's biggest stars will take the stage, including Tim McGraw and Keith Urban, as well as Little Big Town & Mickey Guyton. The Sunday performances will also be streamed live on the NCAA's website for those who cannot attend. The NCAA's site says about the event:

"The Music Festival has brought one-of-a-kind concert experiences to over 150,000 music fans each year. Past performers included Aerosmith, The Chainsmokers, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy, Twenty-One Pilots, Aloe Blacc, Lukas Graham, Flo Rida, Panic! At the Disco, Pitbull, and Jason Derulo.
"Additional performers who have helped celebrate Men's Final Four weekend throughout the years include Rihanna, Imagine Dragons, Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum, Weezer, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, The Killers, LL Cool J, Sting ... among many others."

2023 NCAA March Madness Final Four

The 2023 NCAA March Madness Final Four will pit No. 9 ranked FL Atlantic against No. 5 ranked San Diego St.

In the second game on Apr. 1st, No. 5 ranked Miami FL will square off with No. 4 ranked University of Connecticut. After the four teams square off on Saturday, the NCAA Tournament Championship will take place on Apr. 3.

At the same time, the Final Four for the women's NCAA March Madness Tournament will take place this weekend. In the first of the two games, No. 3 ranked LSU will square off with No. 1 ranked Virginia Tech on Friday, Mar. 31.

After the conclusion of that game, No. 2 ranked Iowa will square off with No 1 ranked South Carolina. This year has seen the women's March Madness tournament draw historic amounts of attention thanks to Iowa's Caitlin Clark.

The team's Elite Eight game set a viewership record with 2.49 million viewers. The ratings marked the highest numbers of any basketball game on ESPN this season, including NBA games.

The highest rating drawn by an NBA game on ESPN was the New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics game on Mar. 5, which drew 2.146 million viewers.
