Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the top talents in the NBA. The Milwaukee Bucks star recently teamed up with Calamos Investments CEO John Koudounis to create an investment fund aimed at making investing more accessible. In addition, 10% of the profits will go to charities aimed at improving financial education.

The two-time NBA MVP appeared on CBS Mornings to discuss the partnership, stating:

"I just want to create access for people, help people as much as I can to educate them and try to teach them about financial literacy. I think it's very important. It's something that unfortunately growing up I didn't have nobody to sit me down and teach me how to invest my money and guide me through my own journey."

Giannis Antetokounmpo added:

"My father never taught me about investing because he didn't know. Now, it's the number one thing that I'm going to teach my kids. I want my kids before they even get their first dollar to know how to make a dollar into two. Why just do it to my kids? How can I give people access to be able to invest? Money makes money faster than people can."
