Another hoops fight video has gone viral, this time during a women's basketball game between Kentucky and Florida. March Madness literally started early for the two teams on Wednesday night at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

According to Bleacher Report, a total of eight players were ejected after a 20-minute delay due to the scuffle. It all started when Kentucky's Ajae Petty put the ball in the face of Florida's Tatyana Wyche. The Gators forward didn't like it and proceeded to throw the ball at Petty.

Players, coaching staff and officials came in to diffuse the situation. Petty and Wyche were given one technical foul each, with the Wildcats forward getting ejected. Seven more players were thrown out for leaving the bench — three for Florida and four for Kentucky.

As usual, fans on social media were quick to react to the melee. Hoops fights have gone viral on Twitter recently, whether from girls high school basketball games to NCAA women's matchups.

One Twitter user mocked the fight, calling it the most entertaining women's basketball game ever. Another user was upset that the fight happened and described it as dangerous.

While some fans were disappointed, others were entertained. One user pointed out that there was a parent who was trying to get to the court and join the action. Some liked that the players were taking the term March Madness literally and they were there to witness it.

Another Twitter user likened the fight to Chris Dudley's infamous altercation with Shaquille O'Neal. Dudley threw the ball at O'Neal after getting dunked on, but completely missed the target.
