NBA fans went into a frenzy after LeBron James’ cryptic tweet: “Ever consider winning a real ring?”, “Good god man grow up”

Amid the LA Lakers’ recent struggles, Lakers star forward LeBron James decided to send out a cryptic tweet on Thursday night. In the tweet, James appeared to compare himself to a warrior as the Lakers sit at 13-18 and 13th in the Western Conference.

Fate whispers to the Warrior, You cannot survive the Storm.” The Warrior whispered back, “I am the Storm….,” James tweeted.

As expected, the tweet quickly led to backlash from NBA fans who called out James for being dramatic and having self-pity. So on that note, here are some of the best fan reactions to James' latest tweet.

Most fan reactions to LeBron James’ tweet were just straight-up harsh. Many called James childish and said he was making excuses.

“LOL, you Warrior you. Let's see how this next month treats you...Warriors don't make excuses and Kings don't need other Kings to win Championships. Just go win with your talents you brought with you from South Beach,” one fan said.
“Good god man, grow up,” another fan said.

Many also called out James for his inability to lead the Lakers to success.

“Ever consider winning a real ring?” One fan said:
“Thought he was going to let history repeat itself. Absolutely not,” another fan said as they shared James’ past promise to never miss the playoffs again.

Many fans also took the opportunity to make fun of James via different variations of his first name combined with other words.

One fan also shifted the focus towards Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka and called him out for not making any moves.

LeBron James and the LA Lakers’ next game will be on Friday night at home against the 8-24 Charlotte Hornets.
