NBA referee assignment: All officials for Game 1 of 2024 Playoffs revealed (April 21)

On the second day of the NBA Playoffs, four teams from the Eastern Conference and four teams from the Western Conference will face each other. The league announced the list of game officials for each game.

Josh Tiven will be the crew chief for the game between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics and Bill Kennedy will be the referee for the game. For the game between the Indiana Pacers and the Milwaukee Bucks, Zach Zarba will be the crew chief and Tyler Ford will be the referee.

Tony Brother will be the crew chief for the game between the New Orleans Pelicans and the OKC Thunder in the Western Conference. Kevin Scott has been named the referee for the game.

For the second game in the Western Conference for Game 1 of the opening round, the Dallas Mavericks will face the LA Clippers. David Guthrie has been named the crew chief, whereas Ed Malloy has been given the referee job.

NBA referee Tony Brothers will officiate the game between Pelicans and Thunder

The New Orleans Pelicans will face the No. 1 seed OKC Thunder in Game 1 of the opening round of the NBA playoffs. With Zion Williamson already out of the lineup, it will be a difficult task for the Pelicans to get over the OKC hump.

Tony Brother has been assigned the role of crew chief for the game. He will be on the court with Kevin Scott, the referee, and JT Orr, the game's umpire.

The NBA releases the list of game officials around 9:00 am ET on the league website. Sean Corbin and JB DeRosa will handle the assignment at the Replay Center.
