The LA Lakers have struggled to find stability in the point guard position for quite a while. They recently parted ways with Russell Westbrook, trading him for D'Angelo Russell at the deadline.

But the Lakers could still be potential suitors for Young.

#2 Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets are in the perfect position to sign a superstar right now. They've cleaned their slate and are looking to head in a new direction. Additionally, the Nets have acquired plenty of assets during the deadline, which could prove to be valuable in trading for Young this summer.

#3 Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have struggled to find a consistent performer in the point guard position since letting Goran Dragic go. Right now, they're stuck with an aging Kyle Lowry, who could be traded this offseason as well.

Adding Trae Young will give the team an offensive boost, and the star guard doesn't have to worry about defense since the Heat are excellent on that end as a team.

How has Trae Young played for the Hawks this season?

Trae Young is one of the most talented point guards in today's game. That's why he's a two-time All-Star. But his 2022-23 campaign hasn't been outstanding by any means.

Young is averaging 26.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 10.3 assists while making 42.8% of his shots from the field and 32.4% of his 3s. He's averaging a career-high in assists this season, but that hasn't helped Atlanta become a contender in the East.

His efficiency from deep has taken a slight dip and is hurting the team. Aside from his passing and vision, his outside shooting is what makes him a real threat.

Young has additional help this season, more than he did in previous years, but that hasn't translated into additional wins. With only 25 games left, it's up to him to turn things around for Atlanta.
