The rest of the NBA has also hopped on the trend, as fans speculate that these posts could be tied to a potential tour.

NBA All-Star reveals he nearly signed with 76ers this offseason

"I was thinking about [Philadelphia]. Philly definitely was an option(35:13 mark)."

DeRozan also added he was waiting to see where Paul George would land and as it would turn out, it was with one of his top teams on his list.

DeRozan went on to sign with the Sacramento Kings via a sign-and-trade, landing in Sacramento on a three-year, $76.7 million deal. Paul George signed with the Sixers for four years on a $212 million deal.

The two will be strong veteran leaders for their respective teams this season, as both Sacramento and Philadelphia will be hoping to compete for an NBA championship in 2024-25.
