The Croatian has scored at least 20 points in his last eight NBA appearances and could be a valuable asset to any competitive team. That is not the Detroit Pistons, at least not right now.
Bojan Bogdanovic is having the best season of his career, averaging career-highs in points, field goal percentage, and three-point percentage. His form means that the Detroit Pistons can afford to wait around. They have him tied to a contract and his value will only increase if he can snag what will be the first All-Star appearance of his career.
For the time being, of course, Bogdanovic is left firmly the best player on a team that is without a special talent in the form of Cade Cunningham. There is little doubt that the Pistons have multiple options as the trade deadline heads closer.
