As the LA Lakers look for ways to improve their roster, they've started to make Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine a potential trade target. The organization hasn't revealed which players or future assets they are willing to part ways with to get LaVine via trade.

ESPN's Zach Lowe reported on this possibility of the 6-foot-5 high-flyer becoming a Laker. Lowe also mentioned that LaVine being signed with Klutch Sports, which is LeBron James' and Anthony Davis' agency, could play a huge role in bringing him to Los Angeles. The Bulls star signed with management back in the summer of 2021, which has helped him get a better deal in the league.

"The name that’s become more interesting to me as this season has gone on – and it’s become clearer and clearer that the Bulls are not going to get it together – is LaVine," Lowe said on 'The Lowe Post" podcast.

Chicago signed LaVine to an extension in July. The deal was reportedly worth a five-year, $215 million max contract extension, securing his future with the franchise. But his stint could come to an end, as he hasn't lived up to expectations, causing the team to struggle mightily this season.

Zach LaVine is an impressively great offensive weapon for the Bulls. Since getting traded to Chicago, he's improved drastically on his offensive skills, making him one of the most deadly scorers in the league. However, for this season, he hasn't played well and this has caused the front office to explore better options.

LaVine is averaging 23.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists while making 45.8% of his shots, including 37.3% from the 3-point area. His numbers have been decent this season, but he's shown incredible inconsistency for Chicago early on. That's why he's constantly in trade conversations.

If the Bulls decide to trade him this season to the Lakers, he could form a new Big Three with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Looking at Los Angeles' roster, there's no way they could keep Russell Westbrook while also acquiring LaVine. His contract is too big, and the team has been looking to trade him since last season's disappointment.
