It was announced on Sunday that Kendrick Lamar will headline the 2025 Super Bowl and NBA fans did not take a break from roasting Drake. Lamar and Drake have had an infamous beef that started earlier this year where the two music artists exchanged diss tracks.

Lamar's diss track "Not Like Us" gained global praise and topped the Billboard charts turning into an overnight hit. Now, with the news of Lamar performing on the biggest sports stage, NBA fans took the opportunity to troll the target of his diss tracks.

One fan explained that Drake supporters have nothing to counter Lamar with after the confirmation of a Super Bowl halftime show performance.

"What are the dead gone come up with to cope with their denial now? lol let me guess bro sAiD dRaKe nAmE iNtO a sUpEr bOwL. NOOO!!! YOU HAVE DISSOCIATED YOURSELF FROM REALITY. Kung Fu Kenny is what the culture’s feeling!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Drake really jump started that beef with a song claiming “Big as the Super Bowl” and got driven through the Earth by the guy who is now actually doing the Super Bowl show, diabolical," @KyleNeubeck said.
"Drake can't catch a break."

Another fan detailed the success Lamar has achieved since their beef.

"Between now and February drake gotta come with it man. Smash, smash album. Not like us and euphoria at the Super Bowl, and kendrick coming with a new album between now and then too. Big 4 months for the boy," @JamCristopher said.
"Kendrick vs Drake at this point."

Basketball and the NBA have been a staple in American culture and Lamar has often rapped about it. He made several references to the sport and the league in his Pulitzer award-winning album "DAMN." and he continues to feature them in his newer songs as well.

NBA players who have been spotted at Kendrick Lamar's concert

Kendrick Lamar's music doesn't fail when it comes to impressing audiences and some NBA stars are also his fans. Lamar's Juneteenth concert held at Inglewood, California saw some of the biggest names in the NBA like LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and DeMar DeRozan, who he has referenced in his hit diss track "Not Like Us," attending it at the Kia Forum.

Even LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard was spotted attending one of his concerts. During the concert, Lamar also gave a shoutout to the late Kobe Bryant which was received with a rousing applause.
